Swan Valley is a well established and mature lake of around 9 acres set in 13 acres of quiet surroundings with a stretch of the River Blackwater that passes through.
The lake turned syndicate in June 2006 after it was run as a day ticket venue for a number of years. Since then the stock has thrived and now boasts a number of big carp, with 6 different fish that have pushed over the 40lb mark, including 2 different commons and a further 3 fish that have fallen just short of the mark.
The number of 30lb+ carp is relatively unknown, but this number we believe to be in excess of 35 fish. This is backed up by a big head of 20lb+ fish including some cracking linears and ghosties.
The lake itself has many features from gravel bars to silt beds along with a number of fishy snags and various other underwater features. The fishing is by no means easy, but adopt the correct method and at the right time and place you can have some big hits!
